1. Information We Collect
When you create a ClearMath AI account we collect your name, email address, and the password you choose. As you use the platform we also store your learning activity — lessons attempted, answers, mastery, XP, and streaks — so we can personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to (a) provide and personalize the tutoring experience, (b) process payments through Stripe, (c) send essential account emails (confirmation, password reset, receipts), and (d) improve our product.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles them under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make ClearMath AI work (hosting, database, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, AI model providers for generating questions and explanations).
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children's Privacy
ClearMath AI is intended for students in grades 6–10. Students under 13 should use the service with a parent or guardian's consent.
